HELP US GRANT WISHES TO LOCAL WISH KIDS
Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Last year, the Indiana chapter was able to grant the wishes of 292 local children. These wishes provide inspiration to the children, their families, and the surrounding community.
Despite battling neurofibromatosis, Georgia continues to be a happy, funny, 4-year-old. Her heartfelt wish is to go to Disney World so she can meet a handsome prince, preferably Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid.
Each wish granted helps a kiddo like Georgia
Georgia loves drawing and coloring. Like many other kids, she loves mac & cheese, playing with her castle dollhouse, and loves the Little Mermaid.
Georgia has neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerve tissue. These tumors can develop anywhere in the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Despite her challenges and frequent hospital visits, she continues to keep a positive attitude and enjoys reading Max & Ruby books.
Inspired by her love of Disney, she wished to go to Disney World and giggled that she wanted to meet a handsome prince. Georgia is also looking forward to seeing the princess castle and the fireworks. The anticipation of her wish will provide hope, strength, and joy to Georgia and her family.
We are humbled and honored that one of these brave and inspiring children will be joining us at GUTS this year as our Make-A-Wish Ambassador. Please join us at Indy’s second GUTS event and please consider a donation to help courageous children like Georgia.
